TypesetterProfession: Typesetter City: Akron, OH, USAWe are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and graphics for various printed materials such as books, newspapers, and magazines. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail and possess strong technical skills in typography and design software.ResponsibilitiesUtilize design software to format text and images according to specific layout requirementsCollaborate with editors, writers, and graphic designers to understand project goalsReview final proofs for errors or discrepancies before printingEnsure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the documentMake adjustments to layout as needed based on client feedback or design changesRequirementsProven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar roleProficiency in typography and design software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPressStrong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or discrepanciesExcellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with othersSalary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)We welcome applicants of all nationalities who are fluent in English.
