Product Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast-growing software company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the user experience of a software product from early concept through production, combining interface design with frontend and full-stack engineering. Work directly with company leadership and customers to shape how people use automation-driven features, and ship polished interfaces that users rely on. What you'll do - Take the user experience from first sketch through to production, covering flows, prototypes and shipped frontend code. - Iterate on designs continuously using direct customer feedback. - Own every user-facing surface of the product and make complex operational work feel simple and fast. - Work with senior technical leadership to define how users collaborate with AI-driven automation. - Explore and test new ways for people to work alongside software that acts on their behalf. - Create a shared library of interface components and design standards so quality stays consistent across the product. - Speak with customers to understand their day-to-day workflows and validate design decisions. **Requirements** What we're looking for - 2 to 8 years of experience that spans both product design and software engineering. - A record of taking products from zero to one at early-stage startups. - Experience building B2B products. - Strong frontend fundamentals and experience independently shipping production interfaces. - Excellent visual and interaction design judgment, shown through a high-quality, original portfolio or personal site. - Comfort working across the stack in a full-stack capacity. - Ability to clearly explain the reasoning behind design decisions. - Ability to work from the office five days a week. Bonus points - Experience in B2B SaaS. - Background designing user experiences for AI-enabled software. **Benefits** Compensation and benefits - Base salary: USD 160,000 to 220,000 per year - Equity Location and work model - New York City, NY, United States - On-site, 5 days a week in the office - Full-time
