Print Production Technician & Graphic Design Assistant – Premium Stickers & UV Printing

Vinylpac LLC is a rapidly expanding printing company based in Saco, Maine. We began as a specialized sticker and decal producer and have established ourselves as the #1 source for the highest-quality die-cut, kiss-cut, and UV-enhanced sticker printing in the region. We also produce labels and label jars for the cannabis industry. We are building a high-growth operation with significant long-term potential in the printing industry. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Print Production Technician & Graphic Design Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both creative design and production operations while contributing to daily output. The ideal candidate is an aspiring professional eager to develop valuable skills in graphic design, file preparation, and wide-format printing technology as the company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Prepare and optimize print files in Adobe Illustrator Load files into RIP software and operate wide-format UV printers Produce premium die-cut and kiss-cut stickers, laminated decals, and UV-embossed labels Perform jar labeling for the cannabis industry Handle finishing, quality control, and general production tasks Grow into more advanced production and design responsibilities as skills and company needs expand Qualifications Basic or intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (strong willingness to learn and develop is essential) Genuine interest in graphic design and print production technology Comfort with hands-on production work, including labeling and operational tasks Reliable, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and committed to high standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for periods during shifts Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Saco, Maine location Prior professional experience in graphic design or printing is not required — we provide training on our printers, RIP software, and full workflow. Candidates with demonstrated experience in these areas may qualify for compensation above the base range. Compensation & Schedule $17–$24 per hour, depending on experience Candidates with real graphic design or printing experience can command higher pay than the advertised range Paid holidays for part-time employees include Christmas, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 4th of July Hours are flexible and open to discussion.
