Graphic Designer/ Production Artist & Sales Support Fort Wayne, Indiana (Please read all details of the is job) Are you a fun-loving, hard-working graphic artist with great attention to detail? The applicant should be excited to learn about other areas of the business and open to cross-training with our plate making process. NOTE: Must be able to help lift boxes up to 60 lbs. This position would be approximately 75% Graphic Design and Art File Production, 25% Order Entry/Sales Support, Price Estimating and Plate Making Dept. support. This is where the lifting part comes in. The ideal candidate will be customer-service orientated and a fast learner, able to quickly understand what needs to be done, and then take the initiative to get it done. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key, as you will often be the point of contact between our customers and print brokers. You should also have strong computer skills and experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat on a Mac based platform. We need someone with excellent customer service skills who is organized, with great attention to detail and a solutions-based mind set. Responsibilities: Graphic Design & Plate making Support Setting up and Emailing Proofs Logo mockup & design Vectorizing art Visualize & understand complex design ideas and convert into vector art Follow brand guidelines Understand and apply basic design principles, layout, typography, and color theory Understand Printing and Trapping Concepts Website & social media content management Sales Support Placing, managing and following up on orders Order Entry and Estimates Answering the phone Occasional local pick up & deliveries General office duties (Light Cleaning Duties) Qualities & Skills Required: Administrative work experience within a professional work environment preferred Experience with graphic design software Experienced in customer service Adept with Adobe Suite software: Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Adept with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Very comfortable with computers & basic math Ability to work quickly, accurately and meet deadlines under pressure Strong data entry experience – order entry system experience preferred Highly effective and clear communication both verbal & written Exceptional organizational and time management skills Excellent follow through skills and high attention to detail Ability to solve problems and juggle multiple projects at once Curious and open to learning new things Team player Sense of humor Flexible Drug Free/Smoke Free work environment.
