Graphic Design Artist III

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ------------------------- * Design compelling and accessible visual content that supports Albert Einstein College of Medicine * Create print and digital products and materials as directed by Director of Creative Services and Project Manager, including but not limited to: brochures, postcards, invitations, reports, digital signage, social media assets, infographics, presentations, proposals, and posters. * Execute art direction as provided by Director and Lead Graphic Designers * Iterate designs based on feedback from clients and colleagues * Ensure materials reflect appropriate brand identity * Act as responsible party for assigned jobs, ensuring timely delivery of final product * Manage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production requirements * Professionally and collegially work and communicate with clients and colleagues * Prepare final files for both digital and print production * Coordinate effectively with print vendors to execute final deliverables * Accurately and effectively track time in timekeeping system * Exhibit strong customer service mentality QUALIFICATIONS -------------- * Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer with print and digital design experience; * Appropriate combination of relevant experience and education may be considered * Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and awareness of current trends in graphic design * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word * Ability to work on Mac platform * Familiarity with Canva and Dropbox * Excellent organization skills and attention to detail * Highly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills * Strong written and oral communications skills * Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment Additional Information ---------------------- In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
