Graphic design and Production specialist

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Graphic Designer / Print Production Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can handle graphic design, print production, customer service, quoting, and day-to-day order management in a fast-paced print and sign shop. Responsibilities Create and modify customer artwork for print and signage Prepare customer files for production and ensure artwork is print-ready Design business cards, flyers, brochures, menus, banners, signs, decals, and other marketing materials Operate and assist with digital printing and finishing equipment Handle cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, binding, and other production tasks Assist customers in person, by phone, and by email Take customer orders and gather all necessary specifications Prepare estimates and quotes Send proofs and communicate revisions with customers Follow up with customers regarding quotes, approvals, and completed orders Keep jobs organized and moving through production Check finished products for quality and accuracy Help maintain an organized and clean production environment Work closely with the sales, design, production, and installation teams Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has strong graphic design skills Is comfortable working directly with customers Can multitask and stay organized Works quickly without sacrificing accuracy Has strong attention to detail Can communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person Is comfortable learning pricing, materials, signage, and print production Takes initiative and can solve problems without needing constant supervision Understands that customer service and production are equally important parts of the position Software Experience Experience with any of the following is preferred: CorelDRAW Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Adobe Acrobat FlexiSIGN / Flexi Microsoft Office CorelDRAW experience is especially helpful. Print / Sign Experience Experience in a commercial print shop, sign company, franchise print center, or similar environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of products such as business cards, brochures, booklets, banners, vinyl graphics, yard signs, window graphics, dimensional lettering, and signage is a major plus. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM What We’re Looking For This position is best suited for someone who doesn't want to sit at a computer designing all day. We need a team member who is willing to design, produce, answer phones, help walk-in customers, quote projects, and make sure orders get completed correctly and on time. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and become an important part of our operation.
