The Graphic Design & Production Assistant position at TSHIRT'S PLACE GREENE blends creative output with hands‑on production support. The role is based onsite in Dayton, OH and focuses on preparing print-ready and embroidery-ready artwork, operating production equipment, and maintaining consistent quality. Role Overview You will assist with production tasks while supporting graphic design needs for client projects. This position includes working with DTF printers and embroidery machines, preparing and adjusting artwork for manufacturing, and ensuring finished products meet quality expectations. Responsibilities Operate DTF printers and embroidery machines, with an emphasis on learning and maintaining day-to-day functionality. Prepare, review, and adjust artwork files for printing and embroidery applications. Use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for editing, color correction, and layout preparation. Coordinate with the design and production team to translate client ideas into production-ready work. Assist with machine setup, calibration, and daily maintenance routines. Inspect printed and embroidered products to verify quality and correct output. Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe production area. Required Qualifications Degree in Graphic Design or a related field (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred). Experience in printing or garment decoration is highly preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on color and layout. Fast learner who is reliable and motivated to build technical skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others. Tools and Technologies DTF printers and embroidery machines Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Embroidery digitizing software Wilcom, Hatch CADlink Digital Factory RIP software Plus Skills Experience with embroidery digitizing software such as Wilcom or Hatch. Familiarity with CADlink Digital Factory or other RIP software. Basic understanding of garment materials, thread types, and heat press processes. Compensation and Location $14.00 per hour (USD 14 - 14 per hourly). This is an in-person role at Dayton, OH onsite. Education A Degree in Graphic Design (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred) is requested.
