Customer Service & Graphic Design Associate

Signs2U is a locally owned, woman-owned sign company that has served the Treasure Valley since 2007. We design, build, and install signs, vehicle wraps, and graphics for businesses across the area. We're hiring a Customer Service & Graphic Design Associate to be the first person our customers meet. You'll run the front of the shop: answering phones, helping walk-in customers, preparing simple quotes, and checking customers out. You'll also use your Adobe Illustrator skills every day. It's a great fit for a recent design grad who is good with people and wants to put their degree to work. WHAT YOU'LL DO Greet walk-in customers and answer incoming calls Respond to website inquiries and route larger projects to our project managers Prepare quotes for standard items such as banners, yard signs, and decals in our shop management system Take payments in person and over the phone, and check customers out at pickup Notify customers when their orders are ready Create simple layouts and proofs in Adobe Illustrator Support our project managers by keeping customer and job files organized WHAT YOU BRING Customer-facing experience (retail, front desk, food service, or similar) Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator Friendly, confident communication, in person and on the phone Reliability and attention to detail Comfort juggling the phone, the counter, and the computer on a busy day A degree or coursework in graphic design is a plus, and recent grads are welcome WHAT TO EXPECT This is a front-of-shop role first. Most of your day will be spent with customers, whether on the phone, by email, or in person, and your design work will be hands-on but straightforward to start. We'll train you on sign products, materials, and pricing. As you learn the business, there's room to take on more design work and grow toward a project manager role.
