CUSTOMER SERVICE / GRAPHIC DESIGN / DIGITAL PRINT PRODUCTION

Minuteman Press Downtown San Diego is seeking only the BEST candidates for a position as a Customer Service / Graphic design / Digital Print Production in our Downtown San Diego Location. This position will be responsible for assisting our customers via telephone, email, and in person at our office with their print, promotional and design projects. Your duties will include dealing directly with customers, preparing estimates and work orders, graphic design and prepress, submitting files to vendors, digital printing, light bindery, and being part of a cohesive team. We are PC based, using Adobe software. Requirements: Print shop and prepress experience is a big plus. Experience with graphic design and prepress (Adobe Creative Cloud). Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent time-management skills. You should be able to juggle multiple tasks and aggressive daily deadlines with minimal supervision and extraordinary attention to detail. Work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Strong math skills, with a good understanding of measurements and fractions. Professional appearance and attitude. Willing to learn bindery. Including cutting, folding, book binding, laminating, etc. Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Experience: Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred) Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: San Diego, CA 92101 (Required) Work Location: In person
