Assistant Graphic Designer

What we're seeking in a qualified candidate: Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with experience in Canva a plus Ability to adapt to existing branding standards while supporting limited new creative work Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members Prior experience in designing promotional materials, flyers, T-shirts, and event signage Availability to work onsite primarily, with flexibility for occasional remote days Key duties of the graphic designer include: Developing visual content for programs, events, and library promotions across eight locations Crafting eye-catching flyers, event banners, T-shirts, and other printed materials Supporting print operations with attention to quality and accuracy Ensuring consistent branding across all marketing and informational collateral Assisting with other design-related tasks as needed based on skillset and project demands Perks and benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $20–21 Full-time opportunity for approximately three months, with flexible part-time options (25–30 hours/week) Hybrid work environment with primarily on-site work and potential for remote days Located in a spacious, well-lit office setting with scenic courthouse views Chance to work with a friendly, dedicated core team within a respected community organization Opportunity for future engagements and additional administrative support roles upon contract completion Don't miss this chance to bring your creative talents to a meaningful community-focused organization.
